Neil onstage at a local venue	WELCOME TO NEIL PANTON'S MUSIC PAGE! In addition to piano tuning, I'm also a performer and composer. I've performed, recorded and toured extensively on the oboe, but can also be found in local clubs playing the piano, saxophone and singing. I compose music for background use in Film, TV and Video productions in my home studio.
CREDITS: The "PANTON MUSIC LIBRARY" - a collection of original themes and underscores for use in Television and Film productions. Originally produced for use by Mountain View Community Access Television (KMVT), this multi-disc library is now available to all. A new feature in the Panton Music Library is the "SOUNDS OF SAN GREGORIO" series, a growing collection of nature sounds; birds, streams, cows, frogs and more. I co-wrote the third "GARFIELD & FRIENDS" theme with J.R. Johnston. It aired on CBS Saturday mornings, and is now in syndication all over the world. I have provided music for dozens of video productions including the Silicon Run Series, BPG Productions, Amdahl, Apple Computer, Charles Schwab and others. PANTON MUSIC LIBRARY	Some recognition for my writing; FIRST PLACE and HONORABLE MENTIONS in the WEST COAST SONGWRITERS ASSOCIATION Song Contests in the Instrumental Division and FIRST PLACE in their FILM SCORING competition. I've also provided music for numerous community television productions that have received awards for artistic and technical excellence. I've been fortunate to work with several first-rate composers and artists, including TOM COSTER and ANDREW LATIMER, who have shared their knowledge of composition and the music industry. I worked closely with CAMEL PRODUCTIONS for nearly ten years as they developed their independent label; setting up the recording studio and office systems, production work and performance on several albums plus preparation for touring (transcribing parts, programming synths and samplers).
